Spanish Wine

Spain has always been seen as a reliable source of inexpensive glugging wines. However, a quiet revolution has been taking place in Spanish vineyards over the last twenty years and the latest generation of wine makers from Galicia, Rueda and Catalonia are producing white wines from indigenous varieties that rival the greats from more traditional areas of France. Before you die you must try the delicious Verdejo from K-Naia in Rueda and Albarino from Ffanares, both of which are to be found in our range of Spanish wines!

Tempranillo is the backbone of all Spanish red wine – exemplified by our Rioja from Mirador. But the variety finds a new level of purity and concentration in the Ribera del Duero – why not try our Sembro from Vinas del Jaro? If you prefer Garnacha (Grenache) then you will be impressed by our range from Catalonia or if you fancy going off-piste try the wonderfully silky Barbazul from Andalucia.
